We are very pleased to announce that the Forces Community        Fund has just given a grant of £20000 to help with the installation  of the proposed new Heating System.

Also the Kenneth Barge Memorial Trust has allocated £1000 to the Fund.

It is hoped that the new system can be installed as soon as           possible and although this will inevitably cause disruption to the    use of the Hall it will be a major improvement to our Facility.

Now that the new roof and other improvements have been carried out, the last main remaining problem with the hall is the lack of a suitable heating system.

The Management Committee are making all efforts to raise funds to replace the existing inadequate system with a gas-fired system capable of maintaining a suitable temperature for all hall users.

The Committee would welcome all donations and ideas for fund raising.

Funds have been raised as follows:-

Bingo nights, Family Discos, Burns supper and Tabletop sale, and the donations from the Toddlers Group fund and Rhu Church Hall plus anonymous donations.
